Blakeney is a picturesque coastal harbour famous for it's large colony of grey seals. The quayside has small sailing craft moored up, and children happily enjoy lowering their crab bait over the side filling little buckets with their catch, others stroll or sit for awhile to take in the view. The sea defenses provide a footpath leading out towards the Sea for more exhilarating walks.

Blakeney is made up of lovely Norfolk flint cottages with their pantile roofs found along narrow streets &  walkways often leading off into small courtyards of old fisherman's cottages. There are two main hotels, a number of foodie pubs and an excellent fish restaurant The Moorings. Explore the little shops, cafes, galleries and there is a local mini supermarket, and petrol station.
