Property details
Harbour Cottage is located in an enviable position at the end of a small lane with an open aspect towards the coast and is just a two minutes’ walk to the quayside of Wells-next-the-Sea. The harbour is bustling with moored up leisure craft & fishing boats unloading their catch each day.
Walk on, along the sea defences overlooking the harbour & you will come to the huge sandy beach complete with dunes and shallow sea ideal for children. Wells offers an array of good quality shops, eateries and restaurants. Staithe Street has a butchers, fishmongers, greengrocers and a bakers.
Harbour Cottage is entered through a private gate into a small enclosed garden, with outside table and chairs. The gas centrally heated interior offers a spacious living room with log burner and cloakroom wc off. The dining kitchen is well equipped with all white goods, gas cooker and good sized dining table. On the first floor there are two generous bedrooms (1 king-sized bed and 2 single beds) and a bathroom.
The cottage allows 1 dog or two small breed dogs.
Car parking needs to be booked. Weekend or weekly tickets can be bought from North Norfolk District Council using the ParkingOps app or from any pay and display machine. They are transferable to other NNDC car parks for the duration of the ticket, such as Holt. With the app you can pay for your parking without paying in cash or needing to display a physical ticket on your vehicle and are at a very reasonable cost.
